“ You can ignore three quarters of the negative reviews, as they obviously have never eaten here. I'm glad I did, because the pizza was really good. Great prices per large slice, especially for being a downtown Orlando establishment. At 11am I'm counting 18 different styles of pie, and a few just replaced pans that just got cleared. Give them a try. ”

“ Had a craving for pizza and by chance I just happened to go to Verona's. Well I am so glad I did. I had their lasagna pizza and let me tell you it was absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious. I am from New York and anyone who knows New Yorkers knows we pride ourselves on our pizzerias. Veronas gave me that vibe I inquired about their pizza maker and it turns out he's a New Yorker what are the chances. Do yourself a favor and go have their pizza you will not be disappointed. “ The pizza and wings are as good or better than anyone in town and the slices are huge. But what gets me is the oven baked subs. And since I work downtown the lunch special of 7.00 for a 12" oven baked sub is unbeatable. They're all very good but my favorite is the grilled chicken. I get it with cheese, mushrooms, onions, lettuce and mayo wow man so much flavor. As you can see I don't post a lot of reviews but they deserve the recognition. Great job Tony! ”

“ The buffalo chicken is the best slice of pizza I ever had and this place is always consistent. Mikey makes authentic NY style pizza to perfection. I've been going there for 5 years and I drive from hunters creek just to get a slice from there. Hands down best pizza in Orlando. The chicken wings are amazing to. The only reason the have bad reviews is because drunk patrons and homeless people come and go so staff has to deal with that. I've always been treated with respect. ”
“ I have been ordering from Verona’s for over 4 years. I have NEVER gotten bad food. The food is ALWAYS MADE PERFECTLY! They are so consistent, you know what you’re going to get when ordering here. My favorite is their Buffalo Wings and they never disappoint. They are cooked perfectly every time, not too crunchy not too soggy. They are generously sized and the sauce is the best flavor I’ve ever had (Buffalo medium). The pizza is a must have if you like authentic NY style. I’ve introduced Verona’s to every one of my friends and they have all fallen in love with this place. It’s not a place for eating in as it’s more of a to go/delivery place. Nothing fancy about the restaurant itself. Their focus is clearly on the food quality and that’s what I care about. The customer service has always been good for me. I’m respectful to them and that’s probably why. I’ve read other reviews on this subject and I have to say I’ve seen some interactions in the restaurant with the many young drunk patrons late night and I imagine that can be tough to deal with as a food service worker. I’ll leave it at that. Again the food is the best!! ”
